"Keep company with God. Get in on the best." Psalm 37:4 (The Message)
There is a new view of "company" in our households as we all digest Distance Learning and our new "stay at home" mandate (ya think?!!).
Eugene Peterson defines wisdom as the skillful management of life. Life as we know it, is constantly changing and we all have to fight to skillfully manage life's "new look" and conditions.
I know you think this but...without God (His help, His guidance, His comfort, His...) we are "sunk".
I have a simple question to ask you, that I had to answer for myself. Are you pushing the pause button to establish a time and place to talk to Him? Whether you are a grandparent, a parent, student, sibling, teacher or innocent bystander, we need the mind of Christ to deal with the tasks of life.
Paul said it this way:
"Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It is wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." Philippians 4:5-6 (The Message)
Let us keep company with our great God, keeping Christ at the center!
